Sharp Cheddar Films set out to capture the essence of summer in this spot for Barr Hill’s signature Bee’s Knees cocktail, featuring their award-winning gin. Though shot in studio, the scene was crafted to feel like a warm day outdoors on the deck. Natural textures like wood and grasses were incorporated to build an inviting, summery atmosphere.

The ingredients - fresh lemon and golden honey - were highlighted to celebrate the simplicity and beauty of the cocktail. Layered sound design, blending the hum of bees and the songs of birds, worked in harmony with the visuals to further evoke the feeling of a perfect summer afternoon with a Bee’s Knees in hand.
