Runamok Sparkle Syrup
The Creative Brief
The concept for Runamok’s Sparkle Syrup was to highlight its playful, magical quality, treating the bottle like a performer on stage. Positioned center stage in the spotlight, the product became the focus of a carefully orchestrated visual story. During the dolly push, a dynamic lighting cue transformed the scene from a bright, sunlit morning into a theatrical stage environment, casting a dramatic spotlight that accentuated the suspended sparkles in the syrup. The one creative requirement - showing the bottle being shaken upside down - was integrated seamlessly, revealing how to activate the glittering effect while adding an energetic, interactive moment. By pairing theatrical lighting with this playful action, we crafted a piece that celebrated Runamok’s sense of fun while elevating the syrup with theater, charm, and delight.

Photon Theory
This spot was all about showcasing the sparkles in the syrup. Normally, that means backlighting the product, which we did - but in this case it also required front lighting the bottle to really catch the glitter. For this, we used a 750w Source Four Leko positioned high above camera, fitted with a 19° barrel and a drop-in iris to precisely control spill and keep light off the table.
To build the look of a sunny morning kitchen, we added an Amaran 300c with a Leko attachment to cast a strong beam across the tiled backdrop. An Aputure 600x with a Light Dome 150 softbox keyed the scene from camera right at 90°, while a three-quarter backlight from an Aputure 60x and a dead backlight from an Amaran 150c added shape, morning warmth and pop. Everything was set to 3200K, except for the key light at 5600K to bring a crisp daylight contrast. An Aputure MT Pro was placed on the back table, off camera right to side-light props and extend subtle warmth. A V-flat was also placed 90° off camera left to fill in any deeper shadows.
